How to connect to a wi-fi network

This tutorial assumes you have the necessary access information (password, if needed) to connect to a particular wi-fi network.

From the home screen choose the "Settings" button.

Next, select "Wi-Fi".

If Wi-Fi is not turned on, turn it on now to see the available networks.

The iPhone will now show you a list of all available networks within range. The list is arranged in order of signal strength. Click the network you'd like to connect to.

If your network requires authentication, you will be prompted to enter a password.

After successfully connecting to the wi-fi network, you will see a check mark next to the network you're connected to.

Remember, your network may be named differently than what you see above. For business networks, be sure to ask your IT department for the necessary credentials.
